Hello, here are the best points to watch the race, with photos to support it.

Arrival is after 6.2 KM after the Salangaan bicycle bridge.

Departure KM 0 - along the bank (chaussée de vilvorde 55 - 1020 Brussels) - good view at the water level of the departure - SNUB - 53 participating boats and around 180 participants for this hundredth edition of the winter handicap. The departure is between 13H and 13H23, depending on the type of boat and the age of the participants (this is where we get the term handicap like in golf a little)

Clubs can be recognised by the colour of their shovel and their uniform (list of Belgian outfits here)

Before the Van Praet Bridge KM 1 - the end of the straight - good view of the arrival of the boats in their first acceleration, before passing under the Van Praet Bridge - access to the water level of the start

Opposite the container terminal at KM 2 - clear view of the passage of boats - easy car parking

At the KM 3 cruise terminal - a raised platform allows a very clear view upon arrival and over the beautiful length that passes the RSNB club to the Van Praet Bridge

Around the club KM 3.5 between the club and the Pont van Praet - possibility to follow and encourage the teams who are starting the second part of the race

The deck of the Buda Bridge KM 4 is repaired! Check the view from this bridge

Under the Vilvoorde Viaduct KM 5.5 nice on the beautiful cycle path

At KM 6 On the other hand, a new cycle-pedestrian bridge allows a magnificent view of the last 200m of the race.

The Salangaan bridge in Vilvoorde (pedestrian-bicycle by lift) - clear view of the regatta when arriving and view of the finish from above (the best 'spot')

Come on... come on! And the referee Guillauyme who looks carefully at the timing and the arrival.

View of the finish line from Salangaan Bridge

The finish is here! And then cooling down zone after the regatta.
