1955, inauguration of the Buda Bridge

Now that it has been almost a year since the Buda Bridge was hit, and it is still recovering, here are some photos from yesteryear with a link to the rowing.

Parade of rowing clubs during the inauguration of the Buda Bridge in 1955. Here the eight with coxswain. Two cafes on the right in front of the fireplaces. The house with the white side facade announcing the D'Haeyer lumberyard was the café 'De Kilo', 'Het Groen Huis' was located next door, a little further towards Avenue Van Osslaan.
